After school assistance for LMS Students
Lakeview Middle School believes that every child can learn at a high level. We are committed to creating a school where best instructional practices are consistently implemented to promote increased student growth and achievement.
Beginning September 26, 2017, Lakeview Middle School will again be offering free after school skill-building assistance, called LMS Academy, for any student who is interested in improving their Language Arts and/or Math skills, help with homework, reviewing standards, or getting ahead. There is no daily or weekly commitment to LMS Academy; it is available upon request of the student, parent, or teacher. A certified ELA and Math teacher will be available after school Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30. Students may attend as many or as few sessions as they see fit; however, we ask that you sign up each time your student plans to attend.
Families must arrange their own transportation from LMS promptly at 4:30. A student whose ride home is consistently late, or a student who is disruptive will not be invited back to participate in this opportunity.
