I hope this newsletter finds you doing well!
Below is a flyer (and link) to CHOA, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, that lists common symptoms of allergies and basic tips for avoiding them. Some ways to treat allergies are by using over-the-counter allergy meds if your child can tolerate (such as Zyrtec, Claritin, Allegra, Xyzal, and Benadryl- most of these come in a generic and are really inexpensive- especially at the Dollar Tree), a nasal saline spray, plenty of liquid to drink (to keep the mucous thin), ice packs to help a headache. ***If you use allergy medication, make sure you read the label first before giving other meds such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen- some meds have these already in them!
Please know that your child and your child's health is important to me, and they are a blessing to me. I want them to be well, so they can be here learning and socializing, plus, I love seeing their smiling faces.
As always, please contact me by email or phone if you have a question, concern, or comment.
