8th-grade students are hosted by LFO High School and Catoosa Career Academy for 8th-grade tours in February. Students and parents are given information from our LMS/LFO counselors via letter and field trip permission form.

LFO High School hosts a parent night for students to register for classes going into their freshman year. 

The 6th-grade transition/orientation meeting is held in May.  The meeting informs parents and students about what to expect when moving up to middle school. The upcoming students tour LMS in 5th grade.
